Responsibilities:
● Be responsible for underwriting employer/employee health clients (B2B) and their employees
or group members (B2B2C)
● Cultivate relationships with cross functional teams, stakeholders and support sales teams by
navigating key price drivers for the various accounts.
● Work with a team of senior medical underwriters and actuaries for end-to-end management
of day to day operations
● Ensure good turn around time on quotations requests, optimize quote conversions and
profitability of accounts and the portfolio
● Assist in driving projects such as new products launch, raters, process improvements.
● To support the relevant stakeholders to process onboarding of new clients and servicing.
● Achieve annual revenue, profitability, and market share targets.
● Build and lead a high-performing group medical pricing team with a culture of collaboration
and accountability.
● Collaborate with internal teams to create customer-centric solutions.
● Monitor market trends, regulatory updates, and competitors to refine strategies.
● Helps the sales team in strengthening partnerships with brokers, channels, and
intermediaries to enhance distribution.
● Responsible for maintaining Loss Ratio and Combined Operating Ratio at portfolio and
granular level.
Key Skills Required:
● Strong 8+ years of pricing and quotation experience in Group Health and personal accident
Insurance.
● Analytical and strategic thinking with a customer-first mindset.
● Sharp analytical mind, who enjoys thinking on their feet and devising innovative solutions to
complex insurance product design and pricing problems
● Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
● Proven leadership abilities to inspire teams toward common goals.
● Resilience, adaptability, and agility in a fast-paced environment.
● Strong industry connections in the insurance space, including corporates and brokers is a plus.
