Responsibilities:
- Contract Review and negotiation with third parties: Review and analyze commercial contracts to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies and negotiate the agreement with third parties as per standard company practices.
- Policy Collaboration: Collaborate with the HR team to develop and update company policies, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including legal counsel, business partners, and clients, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with different teams within the organization, such as finance, operations, and sales, to support business initiatives and address legal issues.
- Legal Research: Conduct legal research and analysis on various matters related to commercial contracts, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and assess legal risks associated with commercial contracts and provide recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
- Document Management: Maintain accurate and organized records of contracts, policies, and other legal documents.
Qualifications:
- BA LL.B. (Hons.) from a recognized institution.
- 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in commercial contract management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of contract law and commercial transactions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
