Responsibilities :
- Develop a strong understanding of people policies, processes, and systems across Navi group entities.
- Analyse and investigate data to identify gaps in policies and SOP adherence by employees, people
managers, and HR team members. Lead efforts to identify and implement corrective and preventive
actions. - Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken by the relevant teams within the target date.
- Timely execution of internal HR audits each quarter in line with the annual audit plan.
- Make representations to the Audit Committee on audit findings and actions taken
- Maintain proper work-paper documentation in the audit management tool
- Coordinate with external audit firms for outsourced / co-sourced audits to ensure work delivered by them is of high quality
- Keep abreast with latest developments, techniques, methods, tools, and procedures that affect Navi’s audit capabilities and effectiveness
Key Skills Required :
- Strong analytical skills and good attention to detail. Should be sound logical thinkers and be comfortable with numbers and statistics
- Strong communication skills (oral and written). This is a highly collaborative role involving interaction with multiple stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
- Experience with leading teams and being a hands-on people manager
- Maturity with conflict resolution and having tough conversations
- High integrity
- Ability to think outside the box and be comfortable dealing with unstructured problem statements
- Any previous qualification or experience with audit or fraud related responsibilities is good to have but entirely optional. We are looking for someone who is self motivated and can work from first principles to be effective in this role
- Indicative previous experience in any role with similar skills requirement is between 5-8 years.
