About the role
Navi is seeking a talented and innovative Product Designer to join our team. As a Product Designer 1, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our financial services products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design user-centric solutions that deliver exceptional experiences to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. User-Centered Design
- Translate user insights into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Ensure that all design decisions are driven by a deep understanding of user behavior and preferences.
2. Collaborative Problem Solving.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define design objectives and requirements.
- Brainstorm creative solutions and provide design recommendations based on project goals.
3. Prototyping and Testing
- Develop interactive prototypes to validate design concepts and usability.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine and improve designs.
4. Design Systems
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and patterns to ensure consistency across products.
5. Stay Informed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to bring innovative ideas to the table.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in product design, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and your design process.
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
