About the role:
Required Skills:
1. Strong proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Java, Python, Go, Kotlin.
2. Expertise in object-oriented design, design patterns, and data structures.
3. Substantial experience in implementing algorithms to solve complex real-world problems.
4. Proven experience in building backend systems with focus on scalability, performance, service robustness, and cost-effectiveness.
5. Ability to troubleshoot and optimize backend systems, ensuring both stability and high performance.
6. Drive to explore, improve, enhance, automate, and optimize distributed systems and tools to meet evolving business needs.
7. Demonstrable coding practices, including meticulous design documentation, thorough unit testing, peer code reviews, and a preference for agile methods.
8. Strong interpersonal skills, showcasing effective stakeholder management.
9. A track record of on-time delivery, with a commitment to maintaining quality output.
10. Focus on observability, ensuring systems are well-monitored and maintainable.
11. A minimum of 3 years of software development experience.
12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
1. Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ).
